Hoist Technician Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Hoist Technician for a company based in Columbus, MS. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a long-lasting machine and maintenance facility. Pay Rate $25.00 to 34.00 per hour Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm. Hoist Technician Duties and Responsibilities Perform routine safety and operational checks on hoist and crane systems Wind and unwind cables, select loads based on weight/size specifications, and ensure heavy components are placed precisely Diagnose mechanical breakdowns and electrical wiring or motor control issues. Inspect and maintain fuel tanks, lubricate equipment, and apply hand and foot brakes to secure hoists Closely follow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly. Hoist Technician Qualifications and Requirements 1-2 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or heavy equipment maintenance Strong mechanical aptitude, good hand eye coordination, and the physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at elevated heights. Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries. Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
